You are Mine by David Haas

By looking at the title, you will think this is a love song. But it turned out, this really is a love song! A song about God’s love for us.

Trust me, I am not trying to be preachy. It’s just that this song is very special to me. It is very beautiful and it makes me think that nothing in life is that hard. That I just need to sit back, relax and everything will turn out well in the end.

And since this song inspires me so much, I thought it would do the same to you, too.

Here’s a video of us singing this song. I also added lyrics on the video and also below, so you can sing along when you feel like it.

I will come to you in the silence
I will lift you from all your fear
You will hear My voice
I claim you as My choice

Be still, and know I am near

I am hope for all who are hopeless
I am eyes for all who long to see
In the shadows of the night,
I will be your light
Come and rest in Me

Chorus:
Do not be afraid, I am with you
I have called you each by name
Come and follow Me
I will bring you home
I love you and you are mine

I am strength for all the despairing
Healing for the ones who dwell in shame
All the blind will see, the lame will all run free
And all will know My name

Chorus:
Do not be afraid, I am with you
I have called you each by name
Come and follow Me
I will bring you home
I love you and you are mine

I am the Word that leads all to freedom
I am the peace the world cannot give
I will call your name, embracing all your pain
Stand up, now, walk, and live

Chorus:
Do not be afraid, I am with you
I have called you each by name
Come and follow Me
I will bring you home
I love you and you are mine
